The richest man in the world keeps wearing the same pair of swim trunks.
Since landing in Europe a few days ago for a glitzy vacation with girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos has been photographed sporting the same swimsuit three times.
The quirky, octopus-print trunks are by the swimwear brand Vilebrequin. While this particular pattern is from a past season and is no longer available to buy, the brand currently has a number of colorful animal-print trunks for sale, including sea creatures ($260), koalas ($290), beach-bum starfish ($260) and turtles ($260). Bezos’s trunks made their first appearance this week on billionaire Dreamworks founder David Geffen’s yacht, where Bezos and Sanchez were hobnobbing off the coast of Spain with the likes of Joshua Kushner, Karlie Kloss and ex-Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein. As seen in a group Instagram photo snapped on the yacht, the Amazon honcho paired his swimsuit with a short-sleeved, dark-purple button-down shirt, a baseball cap and dark sunglasses.
Bezos and Sanchez then made their way to glamorous St-Tropez, where he was photographed wearing the trunks twice, both times with the same light-blue button-down, black sandals, shades and a wristful of bracelets.
While Bezos has opted for the same look through the couple’s trip, Sanchez has been mixing things up.
While the two were gallivanting on Geffen’s $400 million yacht, Sanchez looked chic in a dramatic black look. Strolling through the streets of St-Tropez, photographers next snapped her in a breezy white crop top, gauzy pink skirt and giant hat, and then, while heading out for a boat ride in St-Tropez after a walk through the streets, she donned a short white cotton dress, the same floppy hat and a big name gold necklace that spelled out “Lauren” in script.
Since making their pubic debut at Wimbledon in July, the couple who are both newly divorced have been heating up.
Bezos recently met Sanchez’s parents, and he even accompanied her to ex Tony Gonzalez’s induction into the NFL Hall of Fame. Gonzalez is the father of Lauren’s 18-year-old son, Nikko.
